I looked through my file box and realized recently that I need more generic birthday cards. I tend to lean towards making girly cards, but that's bad when you need to send a card to one of your male relatives. For this card I was dead set on using up my scraps and I'm not going to stop until my scrap pile goes down tremendously! I may have a long way to go before I get to that point. For the "in the garden" challenge I chose to use a birthday sentiment with flowers.

What a Hoot!

This is my take on the OWH sketch #80. I haven't made cards in awhile since I've had other things keeping me busy this Summer and since I had a break I thought I'd give my interpretation of this sketch. I used up scrap paper in my stash and there seems to be too much of it and a cute owl Cricut image. I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with and hopefully I can get back into the groove of participating in more of the challenges in the future.
