The picture was taken during my trip to Maymont today. I took a bunch of different flower pictures.

This picture was taken of my handsome boyfriend Ari during his Taiko performance this weekend. I think it's the coolest thing ever!

                       

Now here are the two cards I worked on today amongst everything else. My weekend has been pretty busy, but I still managed time to finish making the two cards I started on a couple days ago.

Hello May Flowers

Ok I'll admit I've been far too busy to sit and really create cards lately. I'm enjoying every moment of it though! I'm super excited to post a sneak peek at what I'm going to be doing tomorrow! Can you guess at what I'm going to be doing? If you guessed taking pictures of flowers you're very close! I'm going to visit Maymont with one of my close friends on a gorgeous warm day to get some great pictures. Also, I've decided to join in on Wordless Wednesdays so hopefully you'll start seeing something other than cards being posted on here. If you're a blogger you should definitely look it up! Anyways this weekend started out pretty amazing... I saw my boyfriend's Taiko performance and if you haven't seen it done you should definitely look up Taiko Drumming. It's the coolest thing EVER!!!!!! Anyways I'll be back next week with more things to post since my weekend is pretty packed.

Two Days, Two Cards

Well since I've been teaching, hanging out with friends, planning a party, and hanging out with my boyfriend my cards have fallen to the waaste side. Although, I love all of the time I've spent outdside of my craft room! Below are the two cards I've made the within the past two days. The first card I used rub-ons and a cute Cricut image! The second card I've had the background of the card sitting in my card box for awhile with no idea of how I wanted to finish it. It finally hit me yesterday on how I wanted it to look! I used one of my favorite Stampin Up sets and chocolate colored ribbon to pull the card together. I hope that everyone is having a great week and I'll be back with more cards next week! I think here at some point I'll start sharing some of my fsvorite pictures that I take as well. It'll be something different other than a blog fully dedicated to cards.

Hopefully I'll have some inspiration after work to make more cards. I know I've neglected my blog lately. Hope everyone's having a great week! Also, I looked in my file box and found cards I need to redo. They're literally from when I first started card-making! How crazy is that?
