Poland, Germany, and London!!!!!!!!

Can you imagine my excitement seeing what I received in the mail after work today? I received three postcards and each postcard was from a different country. I can't wait to add these to my collection that's steadily growing. I only need eleven more states to complete my state collection and then I'm going to need to decide what I'll collect next. I absolutely love these postcards!!!!

Each postcard has some interesting history/facts on the back that each person shared about where the postcard was coming from. I can honestly say with certainty that you do learn something new everyday! I didn't know that Sir Charles Gilbert designed the red phone booths, that they came about about in in a 1924 competition, or that they're seen in in current as well as former British colonies across the world. I thought they were just in the UK!

The place in the Poland postcard used to be a watering place and now it's located in a region of coal mines!

The card from Germany said that Emlichheim has only 14,343 inhabitants! She said the photos on the postcard are old, bt I absolutely love it.

I hope everyone learned something new by reading this post and I hope you enjoy the postcards.
